As the Dust Settles...

The planning is done, the parties are over, the leftovers are in the fridge and we are all dog freaking tired! Don't get me wrong, I have had a ton of fun the last few weeks. I got to see a lot of family and friends that I have not seen in a long time, and we played and had lots of laughs together. But I am glad it is over...

But then... it's not over...

We found out on Miss K's Birthday that the offer for our house was accepted, and we are officially under contract! I know that there is still a chance that things could fall through, but we have really motivated buyers, in fact, they asked if we could be out in 2 weeks! YIKES! It's been a long time coming and we are so excited to finally move! Except the part where I actually have to move... the packing... it's started. Boxes are starting to pile up in corners of my house, my selves are getting empty, and the floor isn't exactly baby friendly anymore.

But oh am I purging! I am getting rid of all kinds of things... I have boxes of things that I have not seen in the 3 years we have lived here... goodbye! We have a pool, one of those big intex one's... we didn't even set it up last year because upkeep was getting ridiculous and we were patching it every week. I was also super paranoid that some little kid was going to find a way into it and get hurt... goodbye! I have boxes of clothes and shoes I can't even remember the last time I wore... goodbye! It feels good to get rid of these useless things. 

So now with all of the partying over, all I have to worry about for the next few weeks is moving... 

so here's to a new adventure!
